The theory of exercise is very simple. By doing more than you normally would, the body adapts, and becomes stronger and fitter. But, sadly, in practice it doesn’t always work.

The same exercise that builds up one person can break another down. It’s why so many people who exercise often do themselves more harm than good. That’s why it’s important that any exercise you do is tailored to your body’s exact needs. But how does one know what those needs are?

Luckily, I have discovered a very accurate way of assessing your body’s muscular state which, currently, is just beginning to be adopted here in Britain. It is called Muscle Activation Techniques™ or MAT for short. I use this cutting edge tool in my one-to-one training to help me tailor an exercise programme to your body’s needs.
